What to wear and bring

Wear clothes you do not mind getting messy. Tie back long hair and trim your nails before class.

Only registered participants may attend. Additional adults or children cannot observe or remain in the studio during instruction.

What happens after class?

Your clay piece stays with us to dry and receive its first kiln firing. Allow approximately 2–3 weeks. We text when all items are ready; phone calls are available upon request.

Glazing is not included in the class price. Return during open studio hours for a separate glazing visit and another firing. Check your class listing for the applicable glazing fee.

Want more time to learn?

Our Beginning Wheel Throwing course meets once a week for six weeks, with 2.5-hour classes. For ages 15+, it includes a 25 lb bag of clay, a basic tool kit, greenware firings, and access to schedule additional wheel time during the session.

Glazing and glaze firings are separate.
