Hand-Built Clay Pumpkin Workshop

Get ready for a cozy fall night of creativity! Join us for a fun and relaxed clay hand-building class where you’ll create your very own ceramic pumpkin from scratch.

Using beginner-friendly hand-building techniques, you’ll shape, assemble, and personalize a clay pumpkin with your choice of textures, carved details, leaves, vines, or a custom stem. Whether you prefer classic fall décor, something whimsical, or a pumpkin with a little personality, your finished piece will be completely one of a kind.

No clay experience is needed! Our instructors will guide you step-by-step through the process, making this a creative and approachable class for beginners and experienced makers alike.

Class Details:

Ages: 15+
Includes: Clay, instruction, use of studio tools, kiln firing, and one handmade clay pumpkin

Pickup:

Your pumpkin will need time to dry fully before being fired in our kiln. Finished pieces will be ready for pickup in approximately 2–3 weeks, depending on drying and firing time.

Glazing Option:

Want to add color and shine? Return to Just Claying Around during open-studio hours to glaze your pumpkin for an $8 studio fee. The fee includes glazing materials and an additional kiln firing.
