Intermediate Wheel Throwing
Intermediate Wheel Throwing
Intermediate Wheel Throwing - This class is designed for students with prior wheel-throwing experience who want to refine their technique and explore more advanced forms and surface treatments. There are 4 classes over a 6 week period. You’ll focus on size, trimming, throwing multiples, decorative handle design, and adding surface texture. Each session begins with a 20-minute demonstration followed by two hours of supported wheel time. Students are strongly encouraged to book open wheel sessions in between classes to practice techniques.
Note: This class is not for beginners. Completion of JCA’s Beginner Wheel Throwing or equivalent experience at another studio is required.
